CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF T!-iECITY COUNCIL <br />4 c, c:, 'VI <br />NO. ~ qj V <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING AV ARIANCE <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.28, SUBDIVISION S(B) <br />FILE NO. 2517 <br />WHEREAS, Scott Bittman and Lisa Bittman, husband and wife, (hereinafter "the <br />applicants") are owners of the property located at 25 Brown Road South within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter "the City") and legally described as follows: <br />The East 330.00 feet of the North 11 acres of the East 25 acres of the North 55 acres <br />of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 117 North, Range 23 West of the <br />5th Principal Meridian, Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subd. S(B) for a front yard setback variance to allow the construction <br />of an addition to the second story of the existing home. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2517. <br />2. This property is located in the RR-lB Zoning District where the minimum lot area <br />requirement is 2 Acres. The property consists of approximately 3 acres. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on August 16, 1999 and <br />recommended approval by a vote of 5-0 on the proposed variance based upon the <br />following findings of fact: <br />Page 1 of 4
