·~ 700219:i <br />~ oc1 12 iega CITY of ORONO <br />\ . . vf /l~~pm\!ESOLUTION oF \.H~,c~Tv couNCIL <br /></4it~sflO~~ \' ~ GRANTINGN~~RI:N:;~ lti <br />TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.23, SUBDIVISION 6(B) <br />11 FILE NO. #2397 <br />P'f Lf~/ <br />\VHEREAS, Joe Lucas and Leslee Lucas (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br />owners of the property located at 1060 North Brnvm P.oad within the City of Orono <br />(hereinafter ''the City'') and legally described as follows: <br />The North 200 feet of the South 1,752.04 feet of the West 430 feet of the <br />Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 23, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter "property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br />Commission held a public hearing on July 20, 1998, at which times all persons desiring to <br />be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a variance to Municipal <br />Zoning Code Section 10.23, Subdivision 6(8) to permit the construction of an addition to the <br />principal structure located 9 feet from the side lot line where 30 feet is required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />Minnesota: <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2397. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-lA One Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br />District. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on July 20, 1998 and <br />recommended approval on a vote of 6 to O for a variance based upon the <br />following findings: <br />Page 1 of 4
