Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 <br />RE: File 2306 (Winds Reach Estates) <br />Dear Ms. Van Zomeren, <br />Thank you for your prompt and courteous attention to my request for <br />reimbursement of the Park Dedication and other fees refundable as a result of <br />termination of development of the Brown Road property. The process of <br />attempting redevelopment of my homestead on Brown Road was difficult and at <br />times most frustrating. One of the primary reasons for purchasing that particular ' <br />parcel was the potential for developing three or more lake/lake view building <br />sites. During the twenty-five years that I lived there, I neglected to keep current <br />with the changes in requirements for development of residential properties . I also <br />relied on telephone conversations and other verbal communications, when as it <br />turned out, I should have insisted on confirmations in writing. <br />During the entire ordeal over the last several years however, you were very <br />responsive to my requests and at all times courteous. I truly believe you have the <br />best interests of the City of Orono at heart in the performance of your duties . I <br />greatly appreciate the assistance and information you provided. <br />I received a copy of a letter to Edina Realty concerning the City of Orono · <br />assessment of "delinquent utility fees " for year 1998. It seems they were in error. <br />No surprise . I'll take up the refund with them.
