<br /> <br />July 12, 2018 <br /> <br />Re: Easement Vacation, Lot 1, Block 1, Southways <br /> <br />To whom it may concern: <br /> <br />Please let this letter serve as confirmation that the city intends to initiate a vacation process for the <br />easement described in an Easement Agreement dated July 24th, 1997 between the City of Orono and <br />James R. Jundt and Mary Joann Jundt, and recorded as document 6878945. This easement runs <br />through the newly platted Lot 1, Block 1, Southways. <br /> <br />Through the platting of Southways, approved by the City Council on June 11, 2018, a segment of <br />Brackets Point Road was vacated to support the rerouting of Bracketts Point Road. It is expected that <br />the remaining easement will be vacated upon acceptance of the new, rerouted sanitary sewer line as <br />the old line will be abandoned because it is not necessary.
