• RESOLUTION #921 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF <br />PROPERTY AT 455 EAST LONG LAKE ROAD FROM <br />BRUCE DAYTON <br />WHEREAS, Bruce Dayton has offered to donate to the <br />City of Orono property located at 455 East Long Lake Road and <br />legally described.as follows: <br />that part of W 200 ft of E 464 ft <br />of Govt lot 4 -lying N of hwy and <br />that part of E 264 ft of Govt lot <br />4 lying N of S 2988 ft. of W 1/2 of <br />E 1/2 of sec ex road <br />'Section 35, Township 118, Range 23 <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Bruce Dayton has agreed to donate that <br />property to the City of Orono in fee simple without any <br />restrictions as to the use of that property and after payment <br />of all real estate taxes and assessments due and pending as of <br />October 11, 1978, and <br />• WHEREAS, the City Park Commission has. reviewed the <br />proposed donation and recommended approval thereof, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF-ORONO AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.. The city will accept the donation of the above <br />described property from Bruce Dayton. <br />2. The property will be conveyed to the City of Orono* <br />by Bruce Dayton by warranty deed with no restrictions attached <br />thereto. <br />3. All real.estate taxes and assessments due and pend- <br />ing as of October 11, 1978, shall have been paid prior to the <br />acceptance of the warranty deed by the City of Orono_ <br />4. Upon acceptance of the warranty deed by the City <br />of Orono, the city will cause the filing of the necessary <br />instruments with the Hennepin County Recorder's Office to <br />effect a division of the property which will result in the <br />creation of -two separate parcels of property, one of which <br />will be conveyed to the City of Orono. <br />r� <br />U <br />
