� � <br /> `;� - , <br /> � <br /> � Cit� of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> • <br /> NO. 1306 <br /> � � • • <br /> � � THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE 198Q FEE SCHEDULE <br /> WHEREAS, � Resolution 1128 established a uniform fee schedule <br /> for the year 1980; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 1128 includes provisions for instituting <br /> new fees and for changing listed fees upon adoption of a subsequent <br /> resolution; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following <br /> changes must be made in the 1980 fee schedule so that the rates charged <br /> will continue to reimburse the City for direct operating expenses; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br /> of Orono that Resolution 1128 the 1980 fee schedule is hereby amended as <br /> follows : <br /> A. Page 3 - Zoning Applications - add: <br /> • AFTER THE FACT APPLICATION FEES Amount: �asic Fee <br /> whenever any work, use or division of land for which <br /> a formal application is required has been commenced <br /> without first making such application and receiving <br /> City approval therefore, a special investigation of <br /> the� circumstances shall be made during the application <br /> process. Because of the extra administrative costs in- <br /> volved in the special investigation, the minimum <br /> applicaton fee for after-the-fact applications shall <br /> be twice the fee set forth in the basic fee schedule, <br /> . whether or not the application is thereafter approved <br /> or denied. Payment of an after-the-fact applicaton <br /> fee shall not constitute approval or authorization of <br /> the work, use or division of land, and shall not con- <br /> stitute a penalty or a waiver of the right of the City <br /> to institute �civil or criminal legal actions against <br /> the applicant for commencina such work, use vr division <br /> of land without the required prior approval of the City. <br /> After-the-fact application fees shall apply to the <br /> following application types : <br /> Variances <br /> Conditional use permits <br /> • Subdivision applications <br /> . Special improvement review fees <br /> ,� Rip Ra,p <br /> Zoning Amendments <br /> Grading permits . <br /> . Moving permits � <br /> � All Building and/or G�neral permits <br />
