RESOLUTION N0. 1013 • . • TAX FORFEIT LANDS RELEASE FOR SALE • � _ . � Member Brad Van Nest offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the City Council of th e City of Orono has from ' time to time received from the County of Hennepin lists of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota, for non-payment of past real estate taxes; and WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said lists have heretofore been classified by the Board of �County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non-conservation land and the sale . . thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners ; and � _ WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to authorize release for sale of one or more parcels of land described in said lists, • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said City Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners . of each parcel of land described in said lists as non-conservation land be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of each such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved, as follows: . Lot 8, B1ock 3, Navarre Heights Lot 9, Block 3, Navarre Heights Are approved for sale to the owner of adjacent Lot 10, Block 3, Navarre Heights, an -the conditi�n that all three (3) parcels be � legally combined for tax purposes as one residential parcel. In addition, if Lot 10, Block 3, Navarre Heights, should still be listed ' as state land because of tax forfeiture, the City Council specifically approves the sale of said Lot 10 to the purchaser of Lots 8 & 9 according to the condition noted above.
