RESOLUTION # 817 <br />A RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE 1977-78 <br />LEVY LIMITATION BY TEN PERCENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono deems it necessary to <br />increase its levy limit by ten percent, according to Minnesota <br />State Laws, 1977, Chapter 423, Article 5, Section 6, and <br />WHEREAS, the 1977/78 limit base is $553,759, exclusive <br />of Local Government Aid, a ten percent increase would net a <br />permanent 1977/78 levy limit base of $609,135. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono's <br />permanent 1977/78 levy limit base is $609,135. <br />0 Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota at a regular meeting held August 8, 1977. <br />Attest <br />0 <br />�Ilal.� utler <br />Acting Mayor <br />William B.
