Minnesota 55401
Telephone (612) 330.5500
December 4, 1986
.1
I am in receipt of your letter dated November 21, 1986 regarding
the property at 2615 Countryside Drive in Orono, MN. NSP
acknowledges your firm's retainment by Thompson Lumber Co.
An investigation has been completed as to the location of NSP's
facilities. My investigation reveals that our electric cables
are within the 10 foot utility easement allowed. The fact that
the drain field was damaged indicates the drain field was
incorrectly installed in this utility easement.
Please see the attached letter from the City of Orono concerning
this problem.
Based on the facts presented to me and with the above reasoning,
we must respectfully deny any liabiilty to this claim.
Please be aware that Minnesota Statute MS541.05 allows six (6)
years from the date of the incident within which you may legally
pursue your claim.
Sincerely,
 7
J s A.
