r <br />RESOLUTION #404 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS, AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS AND FIXING DATE FOR RECEIPT <br />OF BIDS FOR THE WATER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE FAGERNESS <br />POINT AREA AND THE SHOREHILLS AREA TO THE NARROWS <br />BRIDGE OF ORONO FOR 1970LW-lA and 1970LW-lC <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. The Village Engineer has submitted final plans and <br />Specifications for proposed water improvements in the Village, which <br />are hereby adopted as submitted. The Council reserves the right to <br />make any changes in said plans which may hereafter appear to be necessary <br />and expedient. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br />cause advertisement for bids for the construction of said improvement <br />to be published as required by law in. the official newspaper of the <br />City, not less 'than three weeks before the date and time for opening of <br />bids, which shall take place at the Village Hall in the Village of. Orono <br />on Friday, the 20th day of August, 1971, at 11 o'clock a.m. The bid <br />security shall.be in the amount of 50 of the amount of the bid. <br />3. The Village Clerk -,and said engineer are hereby authorized <br />and directed -to receive, open and tabulate the bids received at said <br />time and place, and the Council shall meet at the Village Hall in the <br />Village on Monday, the 23rd day of August, 1971, at 8 o'clock p.m., <br />for the purpose of considering such bids and awarding a contract, or <br />else rejecting all bids. <br />Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota at <br />a regular meeting held July 26, 1971. <br />Attest: <br />ouis B.
