RESOLUTION #323 <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING HERB ROSS <br />WHEREAS,.Herb Ross has given the Village of Orono 15 years <br />of dedicated service as Mayor, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Orono, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. That the residents of this Village through their duly <br />elected representatives hereby extend to Herb Ross <br />their gratitude and thanks for his many years of service <br />to the Village as Mayor. <br />2. That the Clerk -Administrator be hereby directed to send <br />to Herb Ross a copy of this resolution... <br />The motion for the adoption- of the foregoing resolution was duly made <br />by Mayor Oberhauser and seconded by Councilman Butterfield, and upon <br />vote being taken thereon the following voted in.favor thereof: <br />Mayor Oberhauser, Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel, and McCarthy.• <br />Councilman Searles absent. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted at a <br />regular meeting held January 26, 1970. <br />ouis B. Oberhauser, Mayor <br />Attest • / <br />• Ralph Martin, Clerk -Administrator <br />RESOLUTION #324 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT <br />HIGHWAY NO. 12 AND NORTH FERNDALE AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the rerouting of Highway No. 12 has caused a temporary increase <br />in traffic and considerable inconvenience at the intersection of <br />present Highway 12 and North Ferndale Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the installation of traffic signals at this intersection <br />would greatly control traffic and would greatly aid in reducing a <br />serious traffic hazard; and <br />WHEREAS, such signals would not be necessary following completion <br />of the Highway 12 rerouting: <br />
