• <br /> RESOLUTION #724 <br /> A RESOLUTION TO REQUEST HENNEPIN COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT <br /> TO POST BIKE/HIKE TRAIL SIGNS ON COUNTY ROADS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to request F3ennepin <br /> County Highway Department to change their policy of marking <br /> improved blacktopped shoulders on County roads that are to be <br /> used as bike/hike routes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono feels a safety hazard is <br /> created by the delay of posting signs on newly improved shoulders <br /> on County roads unt=il after connecting to another link in a trail <br /> system. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Orono <br /> requests the Hennepin County Highway Department to change their <br /> policy and post bike/hike trail signs as soon as possible after <br /> completion of blacktopping shoulders on County roads for use as <br /> � bike/hike trails. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at <br /> a regular Meeting held November 8, 1976. <br /> IJ��-� -�� �. �� <br /> rif �.. 4E L <br /> Robert L.
