Russell called the Meeting to <br />order at 7:30 P.M. Members present were Curry, <br />Rice, Dongoske, Nicholls, and Bar tig. Stubbs <br />represented the Village Council. <br />CALL TO <br />REZONING FROM R-IC TO R-ID; James Dutcher PUBLIC HEARING <br />A Public Hearing was held on the rezoning of <br />Lot 1, N»s of Lot 2, Vern Mar Manor, Plat 43530, <br />Parcels 700 8 1410, from R-IC to R-ID for the <br />purpose of issuing a Planned Residential Conditional <br />Use Permit. Mr. Schultz and Mr. Van Lier, adjacent <br />property owners, voiced objection, not the usage <br />the land was going to be put to, but the method <br />which they called spot zoning. The Planning <br />Commission was hesitant about acting on it as <br />they were not briefed on how a planned residential <br />could be used to build a double bungalow. <br />Rice moved, Dongoske seconded, that the matter <br />be returned for clarification. Motion, Ayes (5) - <br />Nays (0). <br />REZONING FROM R-IB TO I: David Hill - <br />Peterson Property <br />A Public Hearing was held on the above with no <br />appearances. Continuing from the last meeting of <br />February 19, 1968, Mr. Hill presented further <br />plans for his proposed usage of the above property <br />for his business. Discussion was held on a <br />study by the Village Engineer of the drainage <br />and traffic problem. Also, that the plans for <br />the size of the structure and usage as well as <br />the screening from adjacent R-IB were not too <br />well defined. <br />Rice moved, Bartig seconded, that the rezoning <br />of the above from R-IB to I, be approved. <br />Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />DIVISION: Karl Grunlund <br />A study was made of the proposed Division of <br />Karl Grunlund at 3445 Crystal Bay Road. <br />Bartig moved, Dongoske seconded that a new plat <br />brought in, incorporating part of Lot 3, also <br />owned by Mr. Grunlund, into the division, and <br />that storage shed be removed, and all residences <br />on the property be hooked up to Municipal Sewer <br />due to size of lots. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />DIVISION
