On August 9, 1977, we commented on the <br />unsuttability of the soils because the percolation rates <br />averaged less than 60 UPI. Since that time we have again reviewed <br />the application and have noticed that the proposal includes a <br />four feet trench with 6 -inches of Foamy sand beincr placed between <br />the filter material and the original soil. This practice is <br />recommended in WPC -40 for sites having percolation rates <br />between 60-19() 11PI.
