The application <br />indicates the percolations averaged 90 minutes per inch. As such, <br />the proposed site is unaccentable for a standard septic system. The <br />existing standards allows a minimum percolation rate of 60 <br />minutes per inch. <br />My recommendation is to deny the permit as submitted and <br />either (1) request additional percolation tests and a revised design <br />based on an alternate site, or (2) have the applicant submit a design <br />for a mound system at the site already tested.
