TrU'iilumo iTa-T.ir)?
CITY of ORONO
|»nst Offur liox ()()• Oyst:*! I^Jiy, Minnes(»ta 5rKJ2.’J« Municipal Offices
On the North Shore of Lake Minnetonka
June 13, lii83
Ms. Mindy Pattee
1355 Arbor Street
Wayzata, Minnesota 55391
Re: Septic System Repairs
Dear Ms. Pattee:
As one of the residents of the Crystal Bay area who are in need
of septic system repairs, you are probably concerned as to the
status of the City's applications for State or Federal funding
of municipal sewer laterals for this area. I have been advised
by City Administrator Walter R. Benson that we should receive
notification of approval or disapproval of our application on or
about July 1, 1983. If funding is approved, sewer construction
might begin as early as this fall. If funding is not approved,
there are at this time no immediate plans to construct sewers.
Your system must be pumped as often as necessary to eliminate any
surface discharges. When the results of our funding applications
are known, a decision will have to be made whether to make system
repairs or continue pumping as necessary until sewers are built.
If you wish to go ahead with system repairs before the sewer
question is resolved, please contact me. I will be happy to meet
with you to discuss the options and requirements for repairs.
Sincerely,
Michael P. Gaffron
On-Site Systems Manager
