Co., MN
A site evaluation was completed on the above property for on-site sewage
treatment. This site has an existing cabin on lot 68 with a proposed
new cabin on the east end of lot 4.
Soil borings indicate adequate soil south of the existing cabin for a
standard trench system to handle effluent from the new 6 existing cabin,
also assuming a 75* setback from Lake Minnetonka.
Soil Profile
0 - 14"
14" - 34"
34" - 56"
56" - 72-
Topsoil dark brown sandy loam
Brown loamy sand
Brown medium sand NO MOTTLING
Brown sandy loam
with this site being on an island recommend to use S-B-2 gravelless trench
for the distribution of effluent.
Soil borings on lot 4, 66, & 67 indicate a seasonally high water table
within 36" of the surface. Lot 4 has area available to,the west of the
proposed cabin for two pressurized mound systems if needed.
Water use for the new cabin would be a Type 11 three bedroom k the existing
cabin Type 11 two bedroom totaling 450 gal/day.
With the above data, I see no problem with having adequate area for the
installation for on-site sewage treatment.
SBS/ds
Steven B.
