The item was tabled to the Commission's <br /> October 18 work session. On October 18 Planning Commission discussed the amendment in general <br /> terms and after a brief review, concluded that each member should review the ordinance draft <br /> individually and forward comments to Staff. <br /> Revised Draft of Ordinance <br /> The revised draft(Exhibit A)incorporates the suggested various standards that were attached to the <br /> October 10 memo,with added minor changes to reflect that this is a Residential PUD ordinance(as <br /> opposed to commercial or industrial) and reflects standards pertaining to single family detached <br /> dwelling developments as well as standards for attached dwelling projects. <br /> Single Family Detached Standards <br /> The revised draft incorporates the suggested development standards for single family detached <br /> dwellinQs in the RPUD district. This section creates minimum lot standards(area,width, setbacks, <br /> etc) for any single family lots that are part of a RPUD district proposal. These minimum standards <br /> are in Subd. 5 (H) and are summarized as follows: <br /> Lot Area: 15,000 s.f. Lot width: 90' Lot Depth: 125' <br /> Front Yard Setback: Interior Street- 25' Exterior or Through Street- 35' <br /> Collector or Arterial Street- 50' <br /> Side Yard Setback: Interior Lot Lines- 10' Exterior Lot Lines- 15' <br /> Side Street Lot Line- Same as front yard setback <br /> Rear Yard Setback: 40' or 20% of lot depth,whichever is less <br /> Building Height: 30' maximum <br /> Building Dimensions: Minimum depth of 20' for 50% of width; and <br /> Minimum width of 20' for 50%of depth <br />
