OAH 84-0331-34937 STATE OF MINNESOTA OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS In the Matter of the Concurrent Detachment and Annexation of Certain Real Property from the City of Orono to the City of Wayzata (MBAU Docket D-583/A-8103) ORDER APPROVING CONCURRENT DETACHMENT AND ANNEXATION On September 25, 2017, the City of Orono (Orono) adopted Resolution Number 6792; and on November 21, 2017, the City of Wayzata (Wayzata) adopted Resolution Number 56-2017 (Resolutions). The Resolutions request the concurrent detachment from Orono and annexation to Wayzata of certain real property (Property) legally described as follows: Hennepin County Tax Parcel 02-117-23-44-0003: That part of Lot 102 lying Northerly of a line drawn from the Northwest corner of said Lot to a point on the East line of said lot distant 350 feet South of the Northeast corner of said lot in Auditor’s Subdivision No. 184, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Hennepin County Tax Parcel 01-117-23-33-0015: All of Lot 95, Auditor’s Subdivision No. 184, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except that part or parcel of said Lot 95 described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot 95, distance 83.5 feet Northerly of the Southeast corner of said Lot 95; thence West parallel with the South line of said Lot 95, a distance of 93.5 feet; thence North parallel with the West line of said Lot 95 a distance of 150 feet; thence East parallel with the South line of said Lot 95 a distance of 40 feet to the Easterly line thereof; thence Southeasterly along said Easterly line to the point of beginning. Based upon a review of the Resolutions, the Chief Administrative Law Judge makes the following: ORDER 1. Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 414.061 (2016), the Resolutions are deemed adequate in all legal respects and properly support this O rder.
