OAH 84-0331-34937 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS <br />In the Matter of the Concurrent <br />Detachment and Annexation of <br />Certain Real Property from the <br />City of Orono to the City of Wayzata <br />(MBAU Docket D-583/A-8103) <br />ORDER APPROVING <br />CONCURRENT DETACHMENT <br />AND ANNEXATION <br />On September 25, 2017, the City of Orono (Orono) adopted Resolution Number <br />6792; and on November 21, 2017, the City of Wayzata (Wayzata) adopted Resolution <br />Number 56-2017 (Resolutions). The Resolutions request the concurrent detachment <br />from Orono and annexation to Wayzata of certain real property (Property) legally <br />described as follows: <br />Hennepin County Tax Parcel 02-117-23-44-0003: That part of Lot 102 lying <br />Northerly of a line drawn from the Northwest corner of said Lot to a point on the <br />East line of said lot distant 350 feet South of the Northeast corner of said lot in <br />Auditor’s Subdivision No. 184, Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />Hennepin County Tax Parcel 01-117-23-33-0015: All of Lot 95, Auditor’s <br />Subdivision No. 184, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except that part or parcel of <br />said Lot 95 described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said <br />Lot 95, distance 83.5 feet Northerly of the Southeast corner of said Lot 95; thence <br />West parallel with the South line of said Lot 95, a distance of 93.5 feet; thence <br />North parallel with the West line of said Lot 95 a distance of 150 feet; thence East <br />parallel with the South line of said Lot 95 a distance of 40 feet to the Easterly line <br />thereof; thence Southeasterly along said Easterly line to the point of beginning. <br />Based upon a review of the Resolutions, the Chief Administrative Law Judge <br />makes the following: <br />ORDER <br />1. Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 414.061 (2016), the Resolutions are deemed <br />adequate in all legal respects and properly support this O rder. <br />
