CITY OF ORONO <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN <br /> A PROCLAMATION HONORING AUGUST 7,2020 <br /> AS ANDREW CHARRIER, EAGLE SCOUT COURT OF HONOR DAY <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Orono, appreciates and takes pride citizen involvement and <br /> volunteers; and <br /> WHEREAS,the vision of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare every eligible <br /> youth in America to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders, who are guided by <br /> the Scout Oath and Law; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Boy Scouts of America encourage Eagle Scout candidates to <br /> complete worthy projects to improve their neighborhoods, their community and the region; and <br /> WHEREAS, Andrew Charrier has received the rank of Eagle Scout; and <br /> WHEREAS,this is the highest award a scout can receive; few boys move up through <br /> the ranks of scouting and only about 2%make it all the way to Eagle Scout; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the City of Orono recognizes Andrew <br /> Charlie s contributions to the community and the City of Orono honors him by naming August <br /> 7, 2020 Andrew Charrier, Eagle Scout Court of Honor Day.. <br /> THEREFORE, I, Dennis Walsh, Mayor of Orono, do hereby proclaim August 7, <br /> 2020 as Andrew Charrier, Eagle Scout Court of Honor Day and I encourage all citizens to join <br /> me in recognizing and supporting Andrew and his accomplishments within our community. <br /> CIT OF O:ON•• <br /> ATTEST: ����i�� <br /> Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> ahr.11't <br /> Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br />
