November 26, 2002
City of Orono
PO Box 66
Crystal Bay, MN 55323
ATTN: Mr. Michael Gaffron
RE: Western Steel
2687 Wayzata Boulevard
Orono, MN
Mr. Gaffron,
I am in receipt of your letter dated November 21, 2002. The scenario you have laid out
based on your request for temporary outside parking as granted by city council is contrary
to direction provided at the meeting on November 12, 2002. During the meeting granting
immediate temporary outside parking, city council stated the local fire chief would notify
us of preferred parking layout to minimize conflict during an emergency. To date we
have not been contacted by the city with this information. We will be most
accommodating when the information is provided.
Until such time, Western Steel will park outside in an area they believe is out of the way
of emergency vehicles.
Sprinkler system installation progress will continue. Drawings will be submitted to the
city for approval.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me.
Sincerely,
L a
`
LPisrc << ti0 V pp 9
Cc: File CI I Y Ur uhu10
