‘ , , , <br /> ,_- <br /> /.4 0 <br /> ' V <br /> /OO <br /> _-=:4. o- CITY of ORONO <br /> �., �;�i ��ti RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> lift 110V' NO. 4774 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE SECTION 10.24, <br /> SUBDIVISION 5 (B)AND SECTION 10.55, <br /> SUBDIVISION 8 <br /> FILE NO. 02-2745 <br /> WHEREAS,Ilona Peterson and Kenneth Peterson,(hereinafter"the applicants")are <br /> owners of the property located at 1074 Wildhurst Trail within the City of Orono (hereinafter "the <br /> City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 4, Block 1, Wildhurst Estates, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the <br /> property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied for variances to Municipal Zoning Code <br /> Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) to permit construction of an attached garage 17.76' to the street <br /> property line where 35' is required, and to permit construction on a property less than one acre in <br /> size; and to Section 10.55, Subdivision 8 to permit land alteration and construction of a garage and <br /> enclosed walkway within the 26' wetland buffer; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on February 19, 2002 and March 18, 2002, at which time all <br /> persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #02-2745. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B, Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District where 1 acre is the minimum lot size and 140 feet is the minimum lot width. <br /> Page i of 6 <br />
