The building <br /> was classified as a B-2 Occupancy and the proposed use was a H-4 Occupancy. The H-4 <br /> Occupancy has different requirements then a B-2 because it is more hazardous occupancy. <br /> Enclosed is a list of requirements. The corrections may have been completed but need <br /> verification. The fire sprinkler system has not been installed. <br /> The sprinkler system and other code items are typically required to be completed before the <br /> building is occupied. Because of Western Steel's need to move from their existing building the <br /> City allowed the move to continue with the understanding that the corrections would be done as <br /> soon as possible. As of this date the sprinkler system has not been installed. <br /> This letter is to require you to submit sprinkler plans and permit application and to complete the <br /> installation before August 12, 2002. If his deadline is not met the City will forward the mater to <br /> the City Attorney for legal action.
