That sewer <br /> project is anticipated to be complete and ready for connections <br /> in late Fall 1992 or early Spring 1993 . <br /> Attached to this letter is a recently enacted ordinance regarding <br /> the time frame available for connection. <br /> Regarding the connection, each property owner must hire a <br /> contractor to make the sewer connection between the house and the <br /> stub which is extended to the property line. Whichever <br /> contractor the property owner chooses will have to obtain a <br /> $30.50 sewer connection permit. Before the contractor can obtain <br /> that permit, the property owner must pay to the City the Sewer <br /> Availability Charge (SAC) which for 1992 is $700.00, but which <br /> the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission normally increases each <br /> year. The SAC charge payment is passed on directly to the MWCC. <br /> Once sewer is available, unconnected properties will pay a $24.30 <br /> quarterly service charge until connected, then that will increase <br /> to $51.15 per quarter once the connection has been made. <br /> Please contact me at 473-7357 if you have further questions. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> ,4,077/4S7/40e/ `---.._ <br /> Michael P.
