A review of the application finds <br /> that the area where you raised the roof is in a substandard setback. As you know, a variance <br /> was granted to you to build that addition in the substandard setback. An expansion of the <br /> addition would also require Council approval. <br /> Therefore, the City must require you to remove the raised roof or if you feel you have a <br /> hardship, you may ask the City Council for another variance. Because this is an after-the-fact <br /> situation, the City must require you to remove the raised roof or apply for a variance before <br /> December 21, 1994.
