ORONO PARR COMMISSION, FEBRUARY 2, 1988 <br /> ATTENDANCE <br /> Bob Kost, Chairman, Virginia Sweatt, Bruce Kokal , Lee Erger, and <br /> Phi 1 ip Bradley were present. Mariann Kienz ler, Lester Ke l ley, and <br /> Thomas Casey were absent. John Gerhardson from the Orono City staff <br /> was also present. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINOTES <br /> Minutes from the January 5, 1988 meeting were reviewed and approved. <br /> REAPPOINTMENT OF COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> In December 1987, the terms of five Commission Members had expired. <br /> Four of those members requested to be reappointed. It was also <br /> suggested to stagger the terms to avoid that many expirations in the <br /> future. The following are the members to be reappointed and the <br /> expiration dates : <br /> Robert Kost, Chairperson 12/31/88 <br /> Philip Bradley 12/31/90 <br /> Virginia Sweatt 12/31/90 <br /> Tom Casey 12/31/90 <br /> Marianne Kienzler will be moving from the area in April and has <br /> requested not to be reappointed. <br /> Bob Kost requested each member to respond to items of concerns for the <br /> Commission for 1988. The following are things that all members agreed <br /> to respond to in 1988 : park survey and distribution, promotion, <br /> bike/hike trails, physical improvements to all parks, and signage of <br /> a 11 parks. <br /> CASCO CIRCLE PARR <br /> All members were requested to inspect Casco Circle Park prior to the <br /> next meeting and suggest ways of keeping vehicles out of the park. <br /> OPCOMING ITEMS TO BE DISCIISSED <br /> The following items will be discussed at the March meeting: parks <br /> survey and park dedication fee review. <br /> ADJOQRNMENT <br /> Meeting was adjourned at 8 :00. The next Park Commission meeting is <br /> scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 19�8 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 1 <br />
