'I'F-ie minutes were <br /> then approved as corrected. <br /> Gerhardson reported �'r.at the City is still in tne DANIELS PLAYGROUI�D <br /> process of acquiring the Daniels Playground Prop- <br /> erty. It is now being used partially as a park <br /> and ride area. <br /> Copies of the engineer ' s cover letter plus a drawing BEDERWOOD PARK PLANS <br /> of the grading for a Babe Ruth size ball park at <br /> Bederk�ood Park were passed out to Commission members. <br /> Gernardson explained that the study was completed <br /> within the amount budgeted. There is a 1 ' cut from <br /> home plate to the outfield. The �l�.,000 figure does <br /> include aglime of 2" - L�" does not include black <br /> dressing and seeding. <br /> Motion by Tomlinson, Seconded by Watson as follows : <br /> RESOLVED: WHEREAS tne playground equipment including <br /> a back stop, will consume all the current funding for <br /> Bederwood Park: <br /> TFiEREFORE: Zhe Park Corrmiission recommends to the City <br /> Council a new allocation of flznds for the grading and <br /> construction of Bederwood Park for a Babe Ruth size <br /> baseball diamond, the amount requested is estimated <br /> at $6,000. <br /> Motion was unanimously passed. <br /> Tomlinson then brought up the proposed dedication of ANTONIO FAVERO PROPERTY <br /> property to the City by Antonio Favero. <br /> Motion by Watson, seconded by Erger as follows: <br /> The Park Commission recommends to the Cit,y Council <br /> that the proposed dedication of property by I�Zr. <br /> Antonio Favero, located in the Niinnatonka Summit � <br /> Park subdivision, block 7, lots 9 & 10, not be <br /> accepted by the City for Park use. � <br /> Copies of the Navarre Theatre development by NAVARRE TTriEATRE <br /> Hussman Investment Company were passed out to <br />
