� I <br /> CIZ'Y Or� OPONO <br /> PARK COMMISSION <br /> Regular meeting of the Orono Park Commission held February 6, 1979. <br /> The Orono Park Commission met on the above date ATT�DANCE <br /> with the following members present: Chairman <br /> Tomlinson, Erger, Berglund, Peterson, and <br /> Watson. Not Present: Kelley. <br /> The minutes of the January meeting were read MINUTES <br /> and approved. ------- <br /> No further development on the status of the CITY PROPERTY <br /> City owned lakeshore property on F'orest Lake. <br /> Further discussion of the Park Dedication fee PARK DEDICATION FE�;S <br /> ordinance draft. Chairman Tomlinson had a new <br /> draft of the proposed ordinance showing a new <br /> fee schedule. Old and new fees were compared, <br /> but the new fees didn� t differ. <br /> Not a good straight line arrangement. At this <br /> time, cash is being accepted in line with the <br /> feelin� that no additional park property is <br /> needed by the city. Tomlinson talked with <br /> Alan Olson and told him that he didn� t think <br /> there would be any resistance by the Park <br /> Com�nission to these new fees. <br /> Questions raised at the January Park Commiss- PROPOSED ORDINANCE <br /> ion meeting on the proposed ordinance were <br /> discussed at the last city council meeting. <br /> Tomlinson reported that: <br /> 1 . Monies already accepted are separately <br /> recorded, but the cash itself, is in the <br /> operatin� fund of the city. <br /> 2. Roll of the Park Commission will re- <br /> main unchanged under the New Ordinance. <br /> 3. Disbursements from the Park Dedication <br /> Funds are only at the discreation of the <br /> city council. <br /> 4. Orono Golf Course does not come under <br /> the jurisdiction of the Park Commission. <br /> The City Council would like the Park Commission to LAND DEVELOPMENT <br /> inquire into Land Development usage and present <br /> some ideas to them in the future. <br /> DNR is lookin� to us for a recommendation on the DNR-LUCE LINE <br /> Luce Line Access (1 -5 acres) resulting from the <br /> proposed ring route at the junction of Cty. Rd. <br /> 19 & 6th Avenue N. (Ski-Tonka) <br />
