Not - <br /> Present: Erger, Kelley, Lat�.rop. Also attending: <br /> John Gerhardson, Public �ti'orks Coordinator. <br /> The minutes oP the October meeting were approved. MIiv�IITES <br /> John Garhardson spoke to the co:rrnission regarding JOHN GERHARDSON REPORT <br /> several subjects with which the comraission is <br /> concerned: <br /> 1 . Bederwood Park: �ne current and proposed <br /> improvements �o t ' s property are now financed <br /> by Block Grant Funds. The original amovnt des- <br /> ignated for Bederwood was $9000. Of this app- <br /> roximately $3000 has been spent. The remaining <br /> scheduled improvements include playground equip- <br /> ment (s�-��s, slide, climber, ) a baseball backstop, <br /> and some tres plantir�g. <br /> In order to build a Babe Ruth size field on this � <br /> property Mr. Gerhardson would like city council <br /> approval, so that he may do ex�ra work, iP required, <br /> to expand the field to that size. The comnission <br /> expects the participants in various baseball programs <br /> who desire to use this field, to provide some assis- <br /> tance in physically completing the Pield to suit their <br /> requirements. � - <br /> 2. Regarding volunteer help on co�rn�n; ty pro jects, <br /> Mr. Gerhardson announced that he is setting up a <br /> procedure whereby coordination between the volunteers <br /> and the city can be affected, <br /> 3.
