Absent: Lathrop. <br /> The minutes of the April 4th meeting were cor- NIINUTES APPROVED <br /> rected to show the Dayton Property consisting <br /> of approximately 5 acres, rather than 10. Min- <br /> utes were approved as corrected. <br /> The commissioners review the comments from the DAYTOPJ PROPERTY <br /> city staff (Public Works and Police Departments) <br /> re�ardin� the Dayton property. Definite plans <br /> for the property are still uncertain dependi�g <br /> on how the final agreemeni; between the city and <br /> the donor will read. Funding of improvements to <br /> the property should properly be disbursea from <br /> the Park Dedication Fund, the commissioners <br /> tnought. <br /> Chairnian Tomlinson reported on progress of Park PARK PRO JECTS <br /> projects; <br /> 1 . HACKBERRY <br /> New benches �y ball diamond. Diamond <br /> now filled with crushed rock. Tree <br /> planting not yet begun and may have <br /> to waii, until Fall for successful <br /> transplanting. <br /> 2. AN`.L'OINE <br /> Playground equipment in place. <br /> 3. BEDERWOOD <br /> Preliminary gra�,�..� begun, addi- <br /> tional fill coming slowly. <br /> Bederwood Park was discussed at some length. Being BEDERWOOD PARK <br /> as the park is going to be developed the commission <br /> made the following recommendations: <br /> 1 . At least one and possibly two "Babe Ruth" <br /> size ball diamonds be constructed. <br /> 2. Provisions be included in grading plan <br /> for Tennia Courts, preferably near <br /> Stubbs Bay Road. <br /> 3. A gradin� plan to be drawn by the City <br /> Engineering firm. <br /> l question from the commission regarding the maintenance <br /> and use of the Hill School tennis court will be referred <br /> to the city staff. <br /> -1 - <br />
