CITY OF ORONO <br /> r �~�r' PARK COI�`iMISSION <br /> Regular meeting of the Grono Park Commission <br /> held N.arch 7, 1978: <br /> The Orono Park Commission met on the above date ATTENDANCE ' <br /> with the following me�bers present: Cfiairman <br /> Tomlinson, IIerglund, Watson and Erger. Absent: <br /> Peterson, Kelley and Lathrop. <br /> Z'he minutes of the January 3, 1978 meeting were MINUTFS APPROVED - NO <br /> approved. No meeting was neld in February FEBRUARY MEETING <br /> because of scheduling conflicts. <br /> The proposed tree transplanting plans for Hack- TREE PLANTING - HACKBERRY <br /> berry Park were discussed. The commission agreed <br /> that the owner of the adjacent nroperty should bP <br /> consulted to see if he has any suggestions as to <br /> tree locations. Generally, a screening around his ` <br /> property was considered by the commission to be <br /> the first priority with additional plantings along <br /> the south and east edges - if a sufficient number of <br /> trees are available. ` <br /> The general topic of park planning was discussed.
