r <br /> � CITY OF ORONO <br /> Regular P�2eeting of the Park Commission, 8:00 P.M. <br /> t�iarch 25, 1975 <br /> The Park Commission met on the above date <br /> with the following members presento Chairman <br /> Opheim, Berglund, Hallowell, Kubalsky, <br /> Lathrop, and Peasley. Also present: Otto <br /> Christiansen and Bob Callecand from the <br /> Hennepin County Park Reserve. Absente <br /> Kallestad, Leipold, Oberhauser, Panuska, and <br /> Romain. <br /> The Minutes of the regular meeting of P�IINUTES <br /> February 18, 1975, were read and approved. <br /> The Orono attitudinal survey for the Park ATTITUDINAL SURVEY <br /> Commission was reviewed. Otto Christiansen <br /> and Bob Callecand from the Hennepin County <br /> Park Reserve, helped to review the survey. <br /> Suggestions for survey: <br /> 1. The objective of the survey needs to be SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE <br /> simple enough so people will respond and yet <br /> not so simple the survey will not accomplish <br /> its objective. <br /> 2o From a survey, you need to know what you <br /> want, <br /> 3o Somewhere you should include the kids <br /> attitude as well as parents. <br /> 4. PZail out, mail back surveys tend to have <br /> a very low response. <br /> 5o Could have a door to door distribution <br /> and pickup on an orgainzed basis. <br /> 6. Could.. have a random survey. <br /> 7. Need to know how often they went to park <br /> areas and were they s�tisfiede <br /> 8e Need to identify the neighborhood area for <br /> understanding needs. <br /> Part B <br /> 9. Rank in order of importance the facilities <br /> listed. <br /> ' 0. The type of parks question may not be needed. <br /> 11. One questionnaire for every person 10 years <br /> and overe <br /> (Continued) <br />
