All swimming <br /> areas have ueen cleaned up and new sand <br /> dumpeci on the shoreli�ie. <br /> tJe Iiave had complaints from adjacent propercy REGULATIOiVS OF 13L=ACH�S <br /> o�,rners regarding noise and usc of s�aimming <br /> area� in tiie very late evening iiours. <br /> Opheim moved, Panusl:a secondeu., tiiat in <br /> order to control an� establisli reatilations , <br /> the Park Commission recommends to the Council <br /> t,iat specific hours of operation t�e posted <br /> and tiiat llillage police Periodically natrol <br /> and ciieci: the areas. (tiVe presently iiave si�ns <br /> that indicate "Closed--10 P.:1, to 6 A. :-I." and <br /> tae recommend t;iese be the liours t�iat swimming <br /> areas be closed. ) In addition, if necessary, <br /> �that a chain be installed to prevent par::in� <br /> in tiiese areas. <br /> 13enson also rep�rted that Casco Circle Parl: REPORT ON PARKS <br /> ;ias beeri cleaned up and is ready for mowing. <br /> Casco Poiiit Pari: will be graded and made <br /> ready for a skating rink as soon as soil <br /> coiiditions permit. Thougiit must be �iven <br /> to Higtiwood Park development and specifically <br /> a parking Iot. Iiackberry �ias an o�en <br /> sewage problem tliat is being i�ivestigated <br /> by the Villa�e. Long Lake Lion's Club migiit <br /> possibly assist wit�i playground for �IackUerry. <br /> Op�ieim �aas appointed to look into various RECOT�Ii,7Ei�iDATION PROCEDURE <br /> forms tfiat could be used to communicate to <br /> tlie Council specific recommendations from <br /> the Park Commission. This metliod �aould <br /> insure tne Council receives our recommendations <br /> on a timely ancl �vell documented basis. <br />
