O O <br /> %.,:-;43,, P_ CITY of ORONO <br /> l� i804, _ 4G RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> N0. <br /> `9kES _ <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-1434(2) AND A <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> PER SECTION 78-418 (4) <br /> FILE NO. 04-3037 <br /> WHEREAS, Wayzata Country Club, (hereinafter "the applicant") is the <br /> owner of the property located at 200 Wayzata Boulevard within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> See attached Exhibit A <br /> (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant operates a country club on the property <br /> pursuant to an existing conditional use permit; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> conditional use permit per Section 78-418 (4) and a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning <br /> Code Section 78-1434 (2) to allow an addition to an existing maintenance building which <br /> will create a single building in excess of 3,000 square feet. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#04-3037. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR— 1B, which requires a minimum lot area <br /> of 2 acres. This property is a conditional use and is in excess of the 2 acre <br /> minimum area requirement. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> held on August 16, 2004 and recommended approval of the variance based <br /> on the following findings: <br /> Page 1of5 <br />
