0 <br /> MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> Monday,June 25, 2012 <br /> 5:30 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor Lili McMillan, Council Members Cynthia Bremer, Doug Franchot, Aaron Printup and <br /> Dave Rahn; representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus, Police Chief Correy <br /> Farniok, Finance Director Ron Olson and City Clerk Lin Vee <br /> Chief Farniok reported that the Police Department received a request for a proposal to provide police <br /> service to the City of Mound. Council briefly discussed the impacts of providing police service to the <br /> Mound area. <br /> Finance Director Olson reviewed the revenue and expenditure challenges for the 2013 budget. The <br /> Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)was referenced and will continue to be included in budget discussions. <br /> Council provided direction regarding budget priorities as staff prepares the preliminary budget to be <br /> discussed at the July 23�d work session. <br /> Council discussed the potential uses for the fund balance that was transferred to the Community <br /> Investment Fund as approved at the May 29th Council meeting. <br /> City Administrator Loftus summarized the complaint the city received regarding roosters.
