The <br />following regular members were present: A.K. Simonson, <br />H. S. Rice, D. S. Cleveland and Do .r. Judkins;ex-officio <br />members H. L. Searles, K. 'Turnham, Wm. T. I1.111s and D.-J. <br />Boll. <br />SP�!301:LI: USE P..;RT,IIT m L. havidson <br />The request for a :special use permit for a golf driving; <br />range on a 19z acre site owned by Les Davidson, referred <br />to the Planning Commission by Council for study and recommend- <br />ation, ,net with the opposition of some 15 or 16 residents <br />present and a petition of opposition carrying 14 signatures. <br />After hearing the arguments of both proponents and opponents, <br />-tho Cohmgission took the matter Under advisement. The site will <br />be examined at 2 :00 P.I.I. Saturday a February 22nd, and re- <br />commendations vri.11 be made at -the next regular moeting T.Iarch 16. <br />SUB_:IVI;J'ION -M. Lagerquist <br />The request of Mr. Lagercluist for a .1- .bdivision of Block 3, <br />Winship Division, Casco Point, as referred to the Cormni ssion- <br />for study and recommendation, was tabled pending examination <br />of the site. <br />SUBDIVISION-- Balt.zrff <br />The request of P:ir. Baltuff for reeotmendati on on creating <br />two building sites on Lots 27, 28 and 29, Tonkavieir Gardens, <br />referred to Planning Conunission by Council, was also tabled <br />pending examination of the site,,, <br />CLARIFICATION of H.1,001,11- JNDATIONS <br />R.-L. Searles requested clarification of the status of the <br />driveway easement for the subdivision of Lot 15, Auditor °s <br />Subdivision #229. The Commission explained that their intent <br />was to designate that the easement satisfy Village require- <br />ments -;;,s to width while serving as a, private driveway. andd, <br />not as to construction specification until such a. time as <br />it is .taken over by the Village. The recommended width was 60. ft. <br />FLOOD PLAIN ZONING <br />R.L. Searles introduced the matter of problems raced by <br />Council relative to the water areas in property up for sub= <br />division or other considerations. Hice moved a committee made <br />up of R.L. Searles, ,gym.. T. Idlills and i3. J. Boll. be Net up, <br />to study the matter and submit recoim- .iondations. The motion <br />was seconded by Cleveland and carried. <br />
