In October 1996 the <br /> Orono City Council adopted a resolution to allow the land to be sold to adjacent property <br /> owners. Any adjacent property owners who purchases the property is required to legally <br /> combine the parcel with adjacent property. <br /> The sewer was installed in the area in 1992. The property was assessed $8,840.00 for the <br /> project. The assessments were not paid. <br /> The parcel is zoned LR-lA where the minimum lot size requirements is 2 acres. The City's <br /> Comprehensive Plan designates this area as "rural residential". The existing zoning is <br /> consistent with the Plan.
