� � o� <br /> o , o <br /> -���..� CITY of ORONO <br /> � � :{ � <br /> '� "�,�., � <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �L`9kESH�4�� NO. � � 1' ( <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE SECTION 78-1279 <br /> FILE NO. 06-3203 <br /> WHEREAS, Jamie Wilson, married (hereinafter "the applicant") is the <br /> owiier of the property located at 745 Spring Hill Road within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter "City") and legally described as: <br /> Lot l, Block l, Spring Hill Estates, Hennepin County, Mimiesota <br /> (hereinafter "the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> structure setback variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-1279 to allow <br /> expansion of an existing accessory structure located less than 150' from the shoreline of <br /> Lydiard Lake where no structures are normally allowed; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance <br /> with Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono <br /> Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 15, 2006, at which tirnes all persons <br /> desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br /> thereon. <br /> NU4y, THEREFO� �E I7C F.]ESOLV]E� by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Mimlesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #06-3203. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1B Zoning District �vhich requires a <br /> minimum lot area of 2.0 acres and a minimum lot width of 200 feet. The <br /> Property is 6.3 acres in area and 625' in defined width. <br /> 3. The existing 1300 s.f. footprint 2-story building was constnicted in 1987 <br /> pursuant to the conditinns of Resolution I�o. 2212 which granted it a CUP <br /> for guest house use and a variance for exceeding 1,00U s.f. floor area. <br /> Pa�� 1 of 6 <br />
