E;�,�..� ;.° . <br /> . _ <br /> � O� <br /> � O � O <br /> �b. - C ITY of ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> ti <br /> � ��� �G'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �kESH�� NO. 3202 <br /> A RESOLDTION GItANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> IriUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.24, SDBDIVISION 5 (B) AND <br /> SSCTION 10.22, SDBDIVISION 2 <br /> FILE #1767 <br /> WHER$AS, George and Theresa Bloom (hereinafter "the <br /> applicants") are owners of the property located at 1374 Rest Point <br /> Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br /> described as follows: <br /> Lot 1, Block l , Rest Point, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WH$REAS, the applicants have applied to the City for a <br /> variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to <br /> • allow construction of a detached garage that will result in an <br /> increase of 107.5 s.f. or .5� hardcover within the 75-250' setback <br /> area with total hardcover now proposed at 6 , 066 s.f. or 32.2� <br /> hardcover where 5,958.5 s.f. or 31.6� exists and where only 25g is <br /> allowed; and Section 10.24, Subdivision 5 (B) seeks approval of a 33' <br /> street setback for the garage where a 35' setback is required <br /> resulting in a 2' or 5.7$ setback variance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BS IT RLSOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS � <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1767. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore <br /> Residential Zoning District requiring 1 acre or 43,560 s.f. <br /> in area. The property consists of .66 acres or 28,850 s.f. <br /> 3. The Orono City Council reviewed this application on November <br /> ' 9, 1992 and recommended approval of the proposed variances <br /> based upon the following findings: <br /> a) The property is served by munacipal sewer.
