The sewer at above address was connected where old sewer service was. I never seen a disconnect but when new
service was ran I seen old service.The last approx. 30' has a liner installed to save maple tree on sharp corner of
driveway.The neighbor to the South has a sewer service that is 3' from above address and the cleanout was rebuilt by
DSM Contracting the same time sewer service was installed to 2789.

In closing out the building permit for the property addressed above we noticed a sewer disconnect permit
was issued but no inspection was performed. Scott Oberaigner, Sewer&Water Supervisor recalls being
called to the site, but when he arrived the contractor could not locate the pipe. The contractor did
additional digging and still was unable to locate the pipe so he asked if they could demolish the home and
follow the sewer service to outside the new building pad. Scott agreed but said they needed to call him
to inspect it. Scott never received a call.
Before we can issue the Final Certificate of Occupancy and refund the $10,000 currently held in escrow,
the issue of no sewer disconnect inspection must be resolved. The location of the disconnected sewer
can be excavated for inspection to verify location and the capping of the line. An alternative to this would
be to have the sewer line for the neighbor along the East property line televised to verify that the
disconnected sewer line was not connected to the sewer line of the Eastern property. If the sewer for
2789 was connected to the sewer for the property to the East we also need verification that the
termination has been capped.
