Dear Steven and Jo:
As a result of the discussion and the issue raised at the Planning Commission meeting on March 15,
1999,the City of Orono is requesting that review of your application for variances be suspended.
The City of Orono requests that you release and waive any of the City's obligations to proceed and
conclude its review of your application in a timely manner which includes any statutory obligation
for timely review.
The suspension of the City's review of your application will allow you to address the issues raised
at the meeting.
Please sign the enclosed letter and return it to the City of Orono by April 1, 1999. Failure to return
the enclosed letter will result in denial of your application at the next meeting. No application which
has been denied wholly or in part shall be resubmitted for a period of six (6) months from the date
of denial,unless new evidence or proof of changes of conditions are found to be valid. If you have
questions about this matter,please call me at 249-4600.
