Subject: 485 Orono Orchard Tree Planting
We have received your recent letter regarding the planting of trees on your property along Fox
Street. The City has historically not allowed the planting of trees on City Right of Way. The City
is in full support of and encourages tree plant along roads, but requests that the trees not be
located on the City Right of Way for traffic safety and maintenance purposes. The Right of
Way for both Fox Street and Orono Orchard Road along your property frontage is 33' from the
center of the road
