Orono, MN We have inspected the existing roofing on the home at the above referenced location. The existing roofing consists of medium shakes installed at a 10"exposure. During our roof inspection we noticed that the existing cedar is deteriorated and in need of replacement. Les Jones Roofing will be bidding on the complete tear off and reroof of the garage addition. We propose to do the following work. SPECIFICATIONS 1. We will tear off the existing roofing on the garage addition. All debris will be deaned up and hauled away. During the tear off process, debris may sift down through the roof boards. Therefore, we highly recommend that you remove or cover any items that may be stored in the attic area. We cannot be held liable (referring to the debris sifting through)for any interior contents during this process. 2. Certainteed's WinterGuard will be installed up the first six feet at the eaves. 3. One layer.of 30#felt will be mechanically fastened over the remaining,exposed roof area. 4. New galvanized metal 5x7 shingle tins will be installed. 5. The landfill will not accept any type of household debris. • Trucks - While your job is in progress, we will need to utilize your driveway for delivery of equipment and materials. Our crew will plan to park in your driveway for access to their tools and equipment. If this is a problem, please notify us to request a different parking arrangement. Please enclose your 30% down payment along with your signed copy of this contract. If the 30% is not endosed, we will notify you of your anticipated start date. Any project with an outstanding down payment will be subject to cancellation and will be rescheduled when the down payment is received.
