Purpose: Project involves the construction of a driveway across a wetland
to provide access to a single family residence
Dear Mr. and Mrs. McCaffrey:
Receipt is acknowledged for the following which you have submitted as part of
the above permit application:
1. Revised plan showing placement of silt fence along both sides of the
proposed driveway and restoration note.
This plan and letter are in accordance with the action taken by the Board of
Managers on January 21, 1988 in reference to the above permit.
This letter is your permit from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District.
Permit approval is based upon the folowing exhibits:
1. Permit Application No. 88-14 received December 31, 1987.
2. Site plan and profile prepared by McCombs-Knutson dated September 24,
1987.
3. Letter from G. Dale Hamilton, McCombs-Knutson dated January 11, 1988.
4. Resolution No. 2305 from the Orono City Council granting a variance to
the City wetland ordinance.
5. Revised plan showing placement of silt fence along both sides of proposed
driveway and restoration note prepared by Mason Homes, received February
1, 1988.
This permit permit is valid for one (1) year. If construction is not complete
within one (1) year, an extension must be requested. Please contact the
District at 473-4224 when the project is about to commence so an inspector may
view the work in progress.

At the regularly scheduled January 21, 1988 meeting of the Board of Managers,
the subject permit application was reviewed. Action was taken allowing the
District staff to issue your permit only after receipt and staff approval of
the following:
1. Revised plan showing placement of silt fence along both sides of the
proposed driveway and a restoration note.
Please be advised that the project is not authorized until the above has been
submitted to me and you have been notified of permit issuance from the
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. Should you have any questions regarding
this matter, please contact me at 473-4224.
