Dear Sirs;
My name is Edward Hamm, I am the current owner of the property
mentioned above. Over the last year, I have been working with Patrick
McNaughton, the owner of the land directly adjacent to mine. Our goal is to
combine the two parcels into one, we have already received Orono council
approval.
During the application process, a survey was done of this area by Grongberg
& Associates in Long Lake (952-473-4141). According to the survey, it
appears that a portion of my property was paved adjacent to the parking area
on the West side of my land. The area is approximatly 150 ft x 10 ft.
I am writing this letter hoping you will forward it to the correct person in the
correct department.
I would like the paved portion that is on my land removed. It is an invitation
to the people using the public parking area to trespass onto my property.
Additionally I would like to know my rights to put up some sort of fence
between the "public" parking area and my "private" land to keep trespassing
to a minimum.
I will be traveling over the next months, you have my permission to talk to
Patrick McNaughton about this issue; his Cellular# is 612-501-1288. I
know you have talked to him during the application process.

Re: Removal of Encroaching Parking Area Cly OF OR0N0
Dear Mr. Hamm:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the encroachment of Hennepin County's parking
area into your property on the east side of the curve on Shoreline Drive.
Because Shoreline Drive is a County road and because the parking area was developed by
Hennepin County, I contacted David Zetterstrom of Hennepin County Public Works. Mr.
Zetterstrom advised me that the work to remove the encroaching pavement has already
been scheduled for this summer, and may actually occur in the next few weeks. He
indicated that if you have any questions, you should contact the County Maintenance
Foreman, Mike Legg, at 612-596-0280.
I hope this leads to a quick and satisfactory conclusion to this issue. If you have further
