Dear Jeanne:
Enclosed is a photocopy of the lot line rearrangement survey in
the above matter. I am in the process of obtaining the signature
of the owner and mortgagee of the property described as Parcel A.
I am assuming I don't need signatures from the owners and
mortgagee of Parcel B. Please let me know if that is incorrect.
I will also be submitting to you a plat drawing showing the names
of all owners within 350 ft. of the proposed lot line
rearrangement. I would like to have the matter scheduled for the
next planning commission meeting and the council meeting
thereafter. Please let me know if there are any other documents
I need to submit in order to have the lot line rearrangement
considered by the planning commission and the council, including
any application fee.

Dear Kevin:
Thank you for your letter of September 5th. My letter will review the required submittals for
the filing of a Class I subdivision application of a lot line rearrangement.
The application must be signed by both owners of Parcels A and B. The 15' corridor to be
acquired by owner of Parcel A is located within Parcel B and must be approved by owner.
The owner of Parcel B need not sign the application but the City must be in receipt of a
written statement reaffirming his knowledge and approval of the subdivision application.
I have enclosed a subdivision application and have tagged the application form itself. The
subdivision can be completed as a simple metes and bounds Class I subdivision . The fee for
the review process is $350.00. Please refer to the back of the application form, specifically J
the circled items.
The survey by Mark S. Gronberg, dated February 13, 1996, is adequate. Staff must ask for
three enlarged, to-scale drawings for review by the City staff and for the execution of City
officials and property owners. If there is a mortgage interest in Parcel B, the City will require
a partial release or consent to subdivision. Note circled item 4 that specifically asks that you
obtain a Property Owners List from the Hennepin County Department of Finance. You will
receive a list of property owners, labels and a plat map that are to be submitted with the
subdivision application.
Please refer to Page 8 of the application information. Note the remaining meetings of 1996
are October 21st and November 18th. The filing deadline for the October 21st meeting is
September 27th. All submittals must be received before Noon on that day.
