RE: Hazardous Building Action
Dear Mr. Sullivan:
On May 22, 2002 this office notified you of the requirement to repair your roof after a tree fell
on it. As of this date the roof remains un-repaired.
Your failure to repair the roof leaves The City no alternative but to initiate a formal Hazardous
Building Action. A complete inspection of the structure on the property will be conducted and a
repair or remove order will be issued. If you fail to bring the property into compliance The City
will repair or remove the structure and the cost will be collected as a special assessment and will
be applied to the property taxes.
Action will be withheld until July 21, 2003. If you fail to complete the repairs by that time The
City will obtain an administrative search warrant and start the Hazardous Building Action. If
