Two wetlands were determined to be on the property(Wetland 1 and Wetland 2). A functional assessment using the current version of the Minnesota Routine Assessment Method (MnRAM 3.4) was submitted to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District(District) on October 18, 2012 for approval. The assessment only addressed Wetland 2 and did not include Wetland 1. In the District's Functional Assessment of Wetlands,Wetland 2 is classified as Manage 1 (Wetland 1 is classified as Manage 3). Wetland 2 was classified as Manage 2 as a result of the functional assessment, and the District accepts this classification. This memo serves as formal approval of the management classification of Wetland 2 as Manage 2 for MCWD permitting requirements. According to a memo from Catherine Bach at the MCWD dated December 3, 2012: Wetland 1 = Manage 3 = 16.5' buffer (city) plus 20'structure setback.
