RE: Bus Garage Orono High School

We have completed a preliminary plan review of the addendum to the above-captioned project and find the
following items that must be addressed in writing before these changes can be approved.
1. The entry door from plan view South does not meet finished wall to finished wall clearance requirement
of 48" per Figure 404.2.3.2 (b)of the 2015 Minnesota Accessibility Code (2015 MAC).
2. Must maintain the minimum 12" clearance on the push side of the entry door from the South plan view
and the push side of the door entering the Office Room#101 per Figure 404.2.3.2 (b) of the 2015 MAC.
3. Handrails for the stairway to the mezzanine do not have handrail extensions as required by Figure
505.10.2 and Figure 505.10.3 of the 2015 MAC.
4. Provide details of the swinging gates for the mezzanine and framing detail for hinge side of gates.
5. Plans need to be signed by licensed professional.
6. Provide two(2) copies of the updated plans reflecting the aforementioned items.
