The wood retaining walls have been replaced with modular block and are performing adequately. All erosion has been corrected and the site is permanently stabilized with vegetation. Based on my review, it appears that there are several restoration items that need to be addressed before the City accepts this project as complete. My comments are as follows: 1. It appears that the lot has been graded in substantial compliance with approved grading plan. 2. The original plan show one rock retaining wall to be constructed along the west side of the house. The as- built condition has two retaining walls constructed out of lumber that appear to be failing. I don't think having two walls is an issue but the walls need to be reconstructed so that they retain the soils behind them as originally intended. A different design and materials may be needed to ensure that the walls function as intended. 3. There is a lot of erosion on site that needs to be corrected. It appears that minor grading is needed in areas along the house and turf needs to be established. 4.
